Course Program:
BICD’s Wellness Program provides a safe space for students to explore coping skills and strategies to mitigate life’s stressors and challenges. Students will learn the importance of self-care while discovering and illuminating their authentic selves. Topics include grounding, mindfulness, gratitude, safety planning, meditation, grief management, and more. Our goal is for students to learn and practice how to be well in different, ever-changing spaces, to consider their health and wellness, and to move from coping to resilience.

About
Bethel Institute for Community Development
BCD's mission is to provide academic and socio-emotional support for Greater Boston’s high-risk youth – and their families – using methodology that measurably transforms both their lives as well as the communities in which they live. Since 1992, BICD has been working with under-resourced youth by helping them discover their strengths and further develop their innate skills, thereby building a lifetime of hope and success.
