Campus Without Walls (CWW) is an educational initiative that leverages the power of public schools and technology to promote greater equity, access, opportunity, and liberation for all. Through a statewide, cross-sector collaboration of schools, universities, employers, nonprofits and out-of-school-time providers, zip codes and school assignments will no longer limit a student’s educational opportunity.

How it Works

We identify Lead Teachers
CWW identifies talented Lead Teachers across Massachusetts in district public, charter, parochial, and private schools. These Lead Teachers are all committed to culturally responsive, project-based learning, have a high bar for rigor, and have a proven track record of delivering fun, engaging lessons for middle and high school students. Lead Teachers take part in a vibrant professional learning community and also receive a $5k stipend!

Next, Lead Teachers identify their most exciting thematic units
Our Lead Teachers identify 4-8 week-long thematic units in their existing curriculum. These units are shared with Teacher Fellows and their students for FREE! Teacher Fellows receive bi-weekly coaching and ongoing support from one of our amazing Lead Teachers to implement the lessons in their classrooms. Teacher Fellows can also earn professional development points (PDP’s) through participation in Campus Without Walls.

Lastly, we connect teacher to teacher and classroom to classroom
The Lead Teachers’ and Teacher Fellows’ classrooms are connected via Zoom - even though they are each live and in-person with their own students.
