 Danny Rojas, Ed.L.D.

Director of Program Implementation & Strategy

Dr. Danny Rojas is the Director of Program Implementation and Strategy at the Rennie Center for Education Research & Policy. In his role, he is responsible for overseeing the practice portfolio as well as designing overall the organization’s program strategy. He has served in roles across the education ecosystem, including being a classroom teacher, district-level administrator, higher education leader, and founding member at multiple education non-profit organizations focused on expanding educational opportunities for students from underserved communities. During his time in the Houston Independent School District (HISD), he was pivotal in increasing the number of high-performing students from underserved backgrounds admitted into selective higher education institutions nationwide.

At OneGoal, he created a persistence strategy and designed large-scale, strategic partnerships with post-secondary institutions across Massachusetts to increase postsecondary access and success for all students. He holds a B.A. from Northeastern University master’s degree from the University of Houston in Higher Education Administration & Supervision. Dr. Rojas is a recent graduate of Harvard University's Doctor of Education Leadership Program, where he focused on bridging the gap between K-12 & Higher Education by expanding Early College opportunities. He is passionate about designing systems and structures that expand access to exceptional learning experiences for students who are often inadequately served by our education systems.
